The brand-new American Ninja Warrior All-Stars special will air Monday, August 31, at 8pm EST/PST on NBC.
This special was recorded in Las Vegas, following season 11. Like the All-Stars specials before it, the episode will consist of two types of competitions. There’s the Skills Competition and the Team Competition.
During the Skills Competition, the top Ninjas go all out on the biggest, wildest obstacles the crew can come up with. This is a thrill every year with challenges like the Striding Steps and the Big Dipper Freestyle competition.
Hosts Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Zuri Hall each selected three Ninjas for the Team Competition. Their teams will race relay-style on the courses of the National Finals for all the bragging rights they can handle.
The All-Stars special will lead us into the brand new season of American Ninja Warrior! One week later, on September 7, American Ninja Warrior season 12 will kick off at 8pm EST/PST.
When it rains, it pours… fresh American Ninja Warrior episodes, that is.
