Matt Iseman returns to host 2019 Realscreen Awards
Matt Iseman, host of NBC’s hit unscripted competition series American Ninja Warrior, will return as host of the Realscreen Awards, a global celebration of non-fiction and unscripted content excellence, taking place during the upcoming Realscreen Summit in New Orleans.
Originally following in the footsteps of his father, a world-renowned physician, Iseman left medicine to follow his dream and pursue comedy. Besides serving as host of the Emmy nominated American Ninja Warrior, he has emerged victorious in a season of Celebrity Apprentice, and helms American Ninja Warrior Junior on Universal Kids. Iseman also hosted the one-off special Evel Live for History, which averaged 3.5 million viewers.
In addition, Iseman has hosted Sports Soup on Versus, Scream Play on E! and earned an Emmy Award for his work as host on Clean House. Iseman has starred in countless commercials, numerous sitcoms, as well as Transformers 2, and hosted the 2017 edition of the awards in Santa Monica to rave reviews.
He will also be appearing on Lip Sync Battle and Hollywood Game Night in 2019.
