Team Ninja Warrior Renewed for Season 2

Esquire Network has ordered an expanded 16-episode second season of its hit competition reality series Team Ninja Warrior. The new season of the American Ninja Warrior spinoff will debut a five-part special event, Team Ninja Warrior: College Edition (working title), featuring top college competitors going head-to-head against rival universities. Comedian Matt Iseman and former NFL player and current NFL Network analyst Akbar Gbajabiamila host. The debut episode of Team Ninja Warrior was the most watched series premiere with adults 18-49 in Esquire history. Team Ninja Warrior is executive produced by Arthur Smith and Kent Weed of A. Smith & Co. Productions, along with Brian Richardson.
